  • What is FASTBuy?

    FASTBuy is exclusive to Absa Vehicle and Asset Finance (AVAF) customers. You can safely sell your vehicle using FASTBuy. All you need to do is list your vehicle on the platform for dealerships to make offers, ensuring a quick and hassle-free process.

    • If you’re struggling to pay off your AVAF Account, list your vehicle on FASTBuy using the HelpUSell process:
    • Send an email to FASTBuyHUS@absa.africa requesting to sell your vehicle.
    • A consultant will contact you to help you with the process.
    • We’ll send you an email or SMS with the link to the platform.
    • Register and follow the steps to complete listing your vehicle.

    If your AVAF Account is in arrears:

    • You may qualify for a rebate on the shortfall after your vehicle is sold
    • You can restructure your payment plan with no additional costs or legal fees.

  • How does FASTBuy work?

    1. If you’ve called or emailed us, we’ll send you a link via SMS or email.
    2. Tap the link, then read and accept the terms and conditions.
    3. Create your profile.
    4. Upload your vehicle’s information and pictures as well as your asking price.
    5. We’ll notify you every time there is an offer.
    6. If you accept the offer, payment is done through the platform.
    7. Once you receive the payment, you can hand over your vehicle to the dealer.

  • What do I need to do?

    Important information:
     
    • We encourage you to accept the highest offer as you are liable for the remaining shortfall on your AVAF Account.
    • Speak to an agent about restructuring your payments, if needed.
    • You may qualify for a discount on the remaining shortfall. This will be communicated to you when you receive the final offer from a dealer.

    Any shortfall on your AVAF Account will be reported to the credit bureau until it is paid up and only then will your vehicle listing be removed from the FASTBuy platform.

    If you are not in financial distress:
     
    1. We’ll send you the three best offers.
    2. You can then share you contact details with the dealers who made the offers, to arrange viewings.
    3. If the dealers want to view your vehicle, you will have to take it in for viewing at your own cost.
    4. After the viewings, the dealers may contact you regarding an offer.
    5. If you accept one of the offers, we’ll send you a six-digit PIN to give to the relevant dealer when you hand over your vehicle.
    6. The dealer will use this PIN on the FASTBuy platform to release the money into your AVAF Account.
    7. You can reject an offer before you give the dealer your six-digit PIN.
