How to get it and what you can expect

To open an Islamic Youth account you will need:
  • You must be younger than 19 years of age
  • A valid, bar-coded South African identity document or valid passport
  • Proof of residence

Minor under the age of 16

  • Original birth certificate or valid passport
  • Proof of residence (not more than 3 months old, e.g. utility bill or Telkom statement)
  • Parental consent is required to open and operate the account
  • Your parent's or guardian's original bar-coded ID
