Do I need to use my PIN when I pay with my VezoPay ring?

The requirement to enter a PIN depends on your bank’s policies and the transaction amount, regardless of whether you pay with your physical card or your Vezo device. In South Africa, most banks enforce a limit of R500 before requiring users to enter their PIN at point-of-sale (POS) terminals. Additionally, payments made in new or suspicious locations may trigger the bank’s PIN limit as a fraud prevention measure.
Is it possible to connect more than one payment card to my wearable device?

No. VezoPay rings currently support only one payment card at a time.
How can I check my recent VezoPay transactions?

Your VezoPay transactions will appear on your bank statement together with your physical card transactions. For absolute security, VezoPay does not store any personal information, transactions, credentials or bank card details during use, registration or activation on the App or website.
Can I place any limits and restrictions on payments?

All limits and restrictions are controlled by your bank in the same way as for your physical payment card. Contact your bank for limit/restriction options.
Can I connect my card to multiple wearable devices?

Yes, there’s no limitation to how many rings you can connect your card to. You can also manage and pause multiple rings via the VezoPay App.
Can I still use my physical payment card if I pause payments on my wearable device?

Yes. Pausing payments on your VezoPay ring does not affect your physical payment card. You’ll be able to continue using it as usual.
Can I still use my wearable device for payments after blocking my physical payment card?

No. Blocking your physical payment card also blocks the ring from making payments.

Do I have to hold my hand in a specific way to pay with my wearable device?

Yes. Similar to other contactless payments, the VezoPay ring uses a simple method called Vezo Knock to Pay (K2P).

To pay using your ring:

1. Make a fist Form a fist as if you’re knocking on a door, keeping your hand upright (no open hands or sideways fists).

2. Knock on the terminal Place or hover your fist 1–3cm above the contactless symbol or NFC emblem on the terminal.

3. Wait for the beep Hold steady until you hear a beep or see the payment confirmation. Avoid moving your hand away too early.
