Complete the forex delivery form with your required currency and amount. Email the signed form יחד with your ID, passport and travel itinerary to FXdeliveries@absa.africa. The FX Delivery team will contact you to confirm and validate your request.

How long does delivery take?

Orders placed before 12pm (Monday to Friday) are delivered the next business day. Orders placed after 12pm are delivered within two working days, depending on currency availability.

What documents do I need to receive my foreign currency?

You must provide a valid ID, passport, and travel itinerary when applying, and present your original identity documents upon delivery.

Who is eligible for the FX Delivery service?

The service is available to Absa Gold, Premium, Ultimate, Ultimate Plus, Private Bank, and Wealth clients.

How to apply

Step 1. Complete the forex delivery form detailing the required product(s), currency and amount
Step 2. Email the completed and signed forex delivery form with your ID, Passport and travel itinerary to FXdeliveries@absa.africa
Step 3. FX Delivery team will contact you to confirm all the details and validate your request
Step 4. Your request will be processed at the current exchange rate and your Absa transactional account* will be debited with the corresponding Rand value (incl. commission and VAT) and associated delivery cost
Step 5. If you place your order before 12pm (Monday to Friday) you will get your foreign currency the following business day. Orders placed after 12pm (Monday to Friday) will be delivered in the next 2 working days**
Step 6. Have your original identity document(s) at hand when you receive your foreign currency
