Guidelines

  • Travelstart

    • You can qualify for 12 (twelve) upfront discounts on domestic flights and 4 (four) upfront discounts on international flights.
    • The discounts will only be applied to the base fare and will exclude any Value-added Services, fees, taxes or any other costs included in the total price of the ticket other than the base fare.
    • Your Flight Benefit for local flights has a cap of  a R1 000 discount per person, per flight and your Flight Benefit for international flights has a cap of a R5 000 discount per person, per flight.
    • Your available discounts can be applied when booking flights for yourself and other passengers. Your benefits are allocated on a calendar-year basis (1 January to 31 December annually), and once exhausted, no further discounts will be applied.
    • The discount applied to a flight booking is not refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
    • In the event of a cancellation or refund of your flight booking (including refunds issued via travel vouchers), the discount value applied to the flight booking will not be returned to you.
    • No discounts will be received for booking payments made with vouchers.
    • A fixed booking fee is applied to each flight booking made. The fee does not change based on the number of passengers. For domestic bookings, the fee is R169, and for international bookings, the fee is R329.
    • Discounts do not apply to the booking fees.
