What you need to know

Help guides to get started with the App

  • An android or IOS smartphone
  •  A registered cellphone number
  •  Your ATM card and PIN (unless you apply for a new account through the App)
  •  Your account number
  • Report fraud immediately via the Banking App or call 0860 557 557   or  011 501 5089.
  • Chat with our Fraud Team 24/7 on WhatsApp: 0860 557 557.
  • Never store passwords or PINs in clear text on your mobile device.
  • If your device is lost or hacked, delink it via ‘Manage Devices’ on Absa Online.
  • Avoid using public Wi-Fi for online banking.
