What you need to know
 

  • How it works

    Booking your Smart ID renewal appointment is quick and simple:

    1. Go to the secure booking portal.
    2. Type in your ID number.
    3. Choose how you’d like to receive your booking confirmation – SMS, email or both.
    4. Pick a branch and appointment time.
    5. Tap Submit.

     

    Next steps:

    • After booking, you’ll get a confirmation letter.
    • At your appointment please bring confirmation of your booking (email).
    • You pay for your ID at your selected branch, not online.
       

    To book an appointment, you must have an Absa Cheque, Savings or Credit Account.
