These ten banking products can help you move up a tier:

You will automatically be registered for Absa Rewards when you open your Private Banking Account, Islamic Private Banking Account, Young Professionals Private Banking or Wealth Infinite account.

How to redeem your rewards
Have the value in your Absa Rewards account paid into your Absa cheque or savings account.
Exchange your cash rewards for prepaid airtime vouchers from Telkom Mobile, Telkom, Cell C, Neotel, MTN, Virgin Mobile or Vodacom.
Redeem your Cash Rewards, transfer them to an Absa Unit Trust or TruSave account and watch your Rewards grow.
It will take up to four working days for the redemption to reflect in your unit trust account. A minimum redemption value of R200 (per redemption) applies to Cash Rewards redeemed and transferred to an Absa Unit Trust Account.

Absa is refreshing its benefits to reward you for financially responsible behaviour
You’ve been enjoying Absa Rewards for a while now and you’ve no doubt seen the benefits. But your needs change, right? So we’re constantly looking at ways to reward financial behaviour that brings your possibilities to life. We are restructuring Absa Rewards to do exactly that. The following changes will come into effect from 16 January 2019:
- A new behaviour score for monthly deposit payments
- Higher scores for Savings & Investments accounts
- Cash back at Sasol now as much as 20%
- Your total bank earn spend cap is now R75 000 per month
- Cash Rewards earn rates from Absa, Grocery partners, Sasol and on your Multi-currency Cash Passport have been adjusted
- The home loan score is now 75
- To qualify for a score on home loans, vehicle finance, personal loans and credit cards, a debit order must be set up to make repayments on all these products.
- To qualify for a score on home loans, vehicle finance and personal loans, your minimum outstanding balance required is now R5 000
- And new partners (as of 16 December 2018)...
