How to make an immediate payment to an existing beneficiary
- On the Absa website home page click on Logon in the top right of the screen
- Login to your account using your credentials
- Click on the Pay tab
- Select Pay someone new
Accept the verification request sent to your registered cellphone number - Enter Beneficiary name and the amount you would like to pay
- Click on the tick box to make an Immediate Interbank Payment (IIP)
- Enter your reference and your beneficiary reference
- Complete the Notice of payment details
Click Next - Click confirm to accept payment details
Accept the verification request sent to your registered cellphone number - A Payment is successful message and the Immediate Interbank reference number will pop up
- Click Done or select Pay another to make another payment

How to make an immediate interbank payment
- On the Absa website home page click on Logon in the top right of the screen
- Tap Pay
- Select Pay new beneficiary
- Fill in the beneficiary name, banking details their reference number, your reference and payment notification
Tap Next - Proceed to the payment screen
Fill in the amount you want to pay
Select Immediate interbank payment
Tap Next - Confirm the payment details and accept the disclaimer by clicking Accept & Pay
- A final payment confirmation will pop up
Tap Accept to confirm the verification request to finanlise your payment - Immediate interbank payment is successful

How to resend a notice of payment to a once-off beneficiary
- On the Absa website home page click on Logon in the top right of the screen
- Logon to Absa Online Banking
- Click Transact on the side menu
- Under My useful functions, click on the My once-off payments tab
- Select the once-off beneficiary
Click on Resend notice of payment - Complete the Notice of payment details on the pop out
Click Next - Click Confirm to verify the notice of payment details
- Notice of payment is successfully resent
Click Done

How to send money to a new beneficiary using CashSend
- On the Absa website home page click on Logon in the top right of the screen
- Logon to Absa Online Banking
- Click CashSend on the top of the screen
- Select CashSend beneficiaries
- Click on CashSend a new beneficiary
- Accept the verification request sent to your registered device
- Complete the Beneficiary details as well as the CashSend details
Click Next - Verify the CashSend details and click Confirm
- Accept the verification request sent to your registered device
- Your CashSend transaction is successful
Click Done
Note: For existing and once-off beneficiaries, the CashSend limits are R5 000 per day and R25 000 per month. For your convenience it is recommended to send amounts in increments of R50 or rounded to the nearest R100. Your CashSend transaction is available for 30 days only. You can also manage your unredeemed CashSend transaction on Absa Online Banking.

How to make a once-off CashSend
- On the Absa website home page click on Logon in the top right of the screen
- Tap the CashSend icon
- Select Once-off CashSend
- Select account to pay from
Insert amount you want to pay
Enter recipient name, surname and mobile number
Enter your reference
Enter a 6 digit ATM access PIN and tap Next - Tap Continue to confirm the beneficiary’s information
- Beneficiary will be added automatically
- Enter the amount you would like to send
- Enter your reference and access PIN
Tap Next - Tap CashSend
- For security reasons, you may share the ATM access PIN with the recipient
- Your CashSend transaction is successful
Note: For existing and once-off beneficiaries, the CashSend limits are R5 000 per day and R25 000 per month. For your convenience it is recommended to send amounts in increments of R50 or rounded to the nearest R100. Your CashSend transaction is available for 30 days only. You can also manage your unredeemed CashSend transaction on Absa Online Banking.

How to redeem an in-coming SWIFT transaction
- A SWIFT payment SMS is sent to your cellphone
- Logon to your Absa Banking App
- Tap Menu
- Tap International Banking
- Select SWIFT transactions
- Incoming SWIFT transactions displayed with an option to share your account details
- Select Incoming SWIFT transaction to redeem
- Select Sender type (Individual or Company), Reason for Payment and Sub-category for Payment
Tap Next - A summary of the transaction is displayed with a Reserve Bank Declaration
- Tap Accept transaction
- Transaction is successful

How to send money
- Dial *120*2272#, and enter your 5-digit PIN
- Select 5 to proceed
Tap Send - Select 2 to send to a new beneficiary
Tap Send - Enter the recipient’s cellphone number
Tap Send - Enter the recipient’s name
Tap Send - Select the account you wish to debit
Tap Send - Enter the amount you wish to send
Tap Send - Enter the 6-digit code that the recipient will use to get the fund from an Absa ATM
Tap Send - Confirm the transaction by selecting 1
Tap Send - Send the access code and amount of money sent to the recipient
Note: The CashSend limit for Cellphone Banking is a minimum of R20 and a maximum of R500 per day.
