About the walk

Walk the Talk 2026 returns to the streets of Johannesburg in partnership with Jozi My Jozi and the City of Johannesburg. It’s a chance to experience the city’s rich history, vibrant culture and iconic landmarks along a route through the CBD.
Starting and ending at Ellis Park, we’ll follow routes that showcase key sites and public spaces.

We are proud to support this initiative, with a long-standing commitment to uplifting the Johannesburg CBD. Through our partnership with Jozi My Jozi, we invest in better-connected public spaces.

As an Absa customer, you also get access to a limited allocation of reserved tickets

But that’s not all, an exciting Absa Village awaits at the finish line. Recharge, refuel with great food, browse unique merchandise, and soak up the vibe. Even better, we’ll be announcing the winner of a brand-new Mazda2 and you can enter now.
How it works
The walk will start and end at Ellis Park.

8 km, at 09:00

5 km, at 10:00

Your entry fee depends on your chosen distance and age category.
