    • You will have an SMS or email-based transactional history to help you monitor and manage your accounts
    • Get email or SMS notifications every time transactions take place on your accounts, including:
      • Payments
      • Purchases
      • Withdrawals
      • Deposits
      • Transfers
      • Scheduled transactions
      • Returned transactions
    • When you make a point-of-sale transaction using a debit chip card, you’ll get a notification of the purchase amount (shown as a reserved amount) as well as your available account balance at the time of the transaction.
  • Personalise your alerts

    • You can choose to get daily or weekly balance updates.
    • Select when you want to be notified: between long hours (06:00 – 22:00), office hours (08:00 – 17:00) or 24/7 that is, receive notifications as you transact.
    • Minimum amount setting: you can set notifications for any transaction amount. For example, if you choose R0, you will be notified of any transaction. If you choose a minimum amount of R10, you will only be notified of transactions of R10 and above.
  • How to get NotifyMe

    • Register on Absa Online Banking (Full Service) under the Profile tab
    • Call Telephone Banking (full service) on 08600 08600 and select option 1
    • Visit any Absa branch
