On Absa Online Banking or your Banking App you can:

  • Make extra payments on your vehicle finance from your Absa transactional account
  • Request a copy of your vehicle’s eNaTIS documents
  • Access your vehicle’s paid-up letter
  • Request your settlement letter
  • Obtain a cross-border letter

How to register to use Absa Online Banking

  1. On the Absa website home page click on Logon in the top right of the screen
  2. Click Register
  3. On the Absa Online Registration page, enter your details and the code on the screen
    Click Next
  4. Enter your cellphone number, Vehicle Finance Account number and ID number
    Click Next
  5. Select the account to be charged
    Enter your email address and select your title
  6. Read and accept the Personal Client Agreement
    Click Next
  7. Under the Absa Online Security Information section, choose a strong 5-digit PIN
    Confirm the PIN for Absa Online
    Click Register
  8. Confirm SureCheck
  9. You are now registered to use Absa Online Banking

 

There are several ways to pay your AVAF account:

  • By debit order
  • Logon to Absa Online Banking or the Banking App and use electronic funds transfer (EFT)
  • Go to your nearest branch or Absa ATM and do an inter-account transfer
  • Pay a beneficiary from another bank
  • Deposit cash at an Absa branch using a deposit slip
  • At an Absa cash-accepting ATM

How to deposit cash into your car loan account at an Absa cash-accepting ATM

  1. Select Cardless Banking
  2. Select Scan n Pay
  3. Select your language
  4. On the disclaimer screen, choose I understand
  5. Select Financial institution as the payment category
  6. Select Absa Vehicle Finance as the beneficiary
  7. Enter your AVAF Account number
  8. If the deposit details displayed on the screen are correct, select Yes
  9. Prepare notes by removing coins, elastic bands, paper clips and staples (maximum 100 separate notes)
  10. Insert the cash into the cash-accepting slot, not exceeding 100 notes
  11. Confirm that the amount of cash deposited is correct and select Proceed
  12. Enter your initials and surname
  13. Confirm that the deposit details displayed on the screen are correct and select Proceed
  14. Take your receipt
