    The Absa Swiper competition:

     

    Part one:

    • The Absa Swiper cash competition (“the Swiper”):
    • Participants stand a chance to win their share of R1 500 000 during the Swiper Competition period. If the qualifying participant selected for the Swiper is an Absa accountholder and has completed at least one card swipe, card-not-present (CNP), or digital wallet transaction during the Absa Swiper Competition period, they will receive a cash bonus of R2 500. If they are also an Absa Rewards member, they will receive an additional R2 500 cash bonus (“the Swiper Cash Bonus”).

    Part two:

    • Stand a chance to win 1 of 10 Jaecoo J5 VORTEXs , including 3 months’ comprehensive car insurance from Absa Activate.

  • How to enter

    • Open or be an existing Absa Transactional account holder and sign up for Absa Rewards
    • Enter the Absa Swiper competition by sending #AbsaSwiperRewards via WhatsApp on 067 384 0022 during the Swiper competition period.
    • The Swiper will be on air from 20 October 2025 to 2 November 2025 during the following radio stations’ breakfast shows, Mondays to Fridays between 06:00 and 09:00:

    • The presenter will randomly select one qualifying entry and call the participant live on air.

     

  • Who qualifies?

    • Be a South African citizen, hold a South African identity document (ID), or a valid passport, or be a temporary resident in South Africa holding a valid passport and permit, excluding those on holiday and business visits.
    • Provide correct and full personal contact details, as required.
    • Be 18 years old or older.
       

    To qualify for the Swiper Cash Bonus, the participant must:

    • Be called by the radio station on air to participate in the Swiper.
    • Be an Absa accountholder in good standing (meaning their accounts are not overdue, in arrears or overdrawn) and they must do at least 1 (one) card swipe, Card Not Present (CNP) or digital wallet transaction.

     

    To qualify for the Jaecoo J5 car draw, the participant must:

    • Be a South African citizen, hold a South African identity document (ID) or valid passport, or be a temporary resident in South Africa holding a valid passport or permit, excluding those on holiday and business visits.
    • Provide correct and full personal contact details, as required.
    • Be 18 years old or older.
    • Be an Absa accountholder in good standing (meaning your accounts are not overdue, in arrears or overdrawn) between 1 October 2025 and 31 October 2025.
    • Be an active Absa Rewards member.
    • Provide proof of a valid driving licence at the time of the entry and draw.

  • Campaign period

    • Earn your share of R120 million in real cash back depending on your Rewards Tier between 15 October 2025 and 15 January 2026.
    • The Absa Swiper competition has two parts and runs from 20 October 2025 to 2 November 2025.
