How it works?

  • A convenient way of keeping up to date on the funds in your accounts
  • An SMS or e-mail-based transactional history that helps you monitor and manage your accounts
  • With the new, more secure Master Card / Visa Debit Chip Card, any-point-of-sale transaction you make will be processed as a dual message transaction – which means that in addition to your account balance, the SMS or email you receive will also include any reserved payment amounts if relevant. Once the service provider banks the transaction, you will be debited with the transaction amount

How to get it?
  • Register for the NotifyMe service at any branch or by using Absa Online, Cellphone Banking or Telephone Banking
  • As a NotifyMe customer using Cellphone Banking Lite, you can check your account balances, view mini statements and buy prepaid airtime by dialling *120*Absa# (*120*2272#), entering your pin code and following the prompts
