What to do when a loved one dies
  • Ask the doctor for a death certificate in the event of natural death.
  • Contact the police for a death certificate in the event of an unnatural cause (case number and investigation to follow).

  • Inform the deceased's employer and pension fund.
  • Inform deceased's bank or financial institution.
  • Find the deceased's will and report the estate to the nominated executor.
