  • How to download a statement

    1. On the Absa website home page click on Logon in the top right of the screen
    2. Logon to Absa Online Banking
    3. On the Express tab, select the account you would like to view
    4. Click Statements
      Click on Archive statement
    5. Select the month range
    6. Select the required statement  
      Click on the Download icon
    7. Click Continue on the pop-up to accept charges
    8. The statement will appear on the screen
    9. Click Download to print or save to your computer
    10. Your statement is successfully downloaded

  • How to add a CashSend beneficiary

    1. On the Absa website home page click on Logon in the top right of the screen
    2. Click on the Pay tab
    3. Click CashSend
    4. Accept SureCheck sent to your registered cellphone number
    5. Enter all the required details
      Click Add
    6. A Beneficiary added successfully message will display with the option for the user to Pay this beneficiary, Add another or click Finish

  • How to add a prepaid beneficiary

    1. On the Absa website home page click on Logon in the top right of the screen
    2. Click on the Pay tab 
    3. Click on Purchase Prepaid
    4. Add beneficiary  
    5. Select the service provider from the drop down
    6. Enter beneficiary cellphone number
    7. Confirm details and click Add
    8. A message will pop up if beneficiary already exists 
    9. Beneficiary added successfully

  • How to resend a notice of payment

    1. On the Absa website home page click on Logon in the top right of the screen
    2. Logon to Absa Online Banking
    3. Click Manage Beneficiaries on the side menu
    4. From the Payments tab select the beneficiary
      Click Resend notice of payment
    5. Select the required payment
      Click Resend notice
    6. Fill in the details
      Click Next
    7. Click Confirm to verify
    8. Notice of payment is successfully sent
      Click Done

  • How to download a bank confirmation letter

    1. On the Absa website home page click on Logon in the top right of the screen
    2. Logon to Absa Online Banking
    3. Click on the Accounts tab
      Select the account for which the bank confirmation letter is required
    4. Click Bank confirmation letter
    5. Accept the verification request sent to your phone
    6. Click View
    7. The bank confirmation letter will open up on the screen
    8. Click Download with an option to print or save to your computer 
    9. You have successfully downloaded your bank confirmation letter

  • How to download a tax certificate

    1. On the Absa website home page click on Logon in the top right of the screen
    2. Logon to Absa Online Banking
    3. Click on Menu in the top left of the screen
    4. Click Settings
    5. Scroll down and select Tax certificates
    6. Select tax year
    7. Select tax certificate type
    8. Click View tax certificate
    9. A pop up will appear
      Click View tax certificate to accept charges  
    10. Download or print your tax certificate

    1. Logon to your Absa Banking App
    2. Select Cheque Account
    3. Tap Statements
    4. Select Download stamped statement
    5. Choose the date range
    6. Tap Download
    7. Your stamped statement is successfully downloaded

    1. Logon to your Absa Banking App
    2. Tap Menu
    3. Select the Cards
    4. Tap the card you want to manage
    5. Select Card transaction limit
    6. Edit the limit range 
      Tap Save
    7. Select Accept Verification Request
    8. Transaction complete

    1. Logon to your Absa Banking App
    2. Tap Menu in the bottom right  of your screen
    3. Tap Beneficiaries
    4. Select the beneficiary you would like to edit
    5. Tap Edit in the top right of your screen
    6. Edit the beneficiary details
    7. Tap Save

  • How to download a Home Loan e-stamped statement

    1. Logon to your Absa Banking App
    2. Select Home loan account
      Tap the Statements tab
    3. Select Download stamped statement
    4. Select date range and tap Done
    5. Tap Download to agree to the disclaimer and continue
    6. Select file format in which to open the statement
    7. Tap the three dots on the top right to save or share your statement
    8. You have now successfully downloaded your stamped statement

    1. Log in to your Absa Banking App
    2. Select credit card account
    3. Tap the Statements tab
    4. Tap Download statement
    5. Select date range and tap OK
    6. Select the required statement from the list
    7. Select file format
    8. You can now view and share the downloaded statement

    1. Logon to the Absa Banking App
    2. Tap on Menu
    3. Tap Cards
      Tap on the card you would like to Stop & Replace
      Tap Stop and Replace
    4. Tap on the drop down menu and select the reason for replacing your card
    5. Tap the calendar icon and select the date the card was last used
      Tap Continue
    6. Select your delivery method and accept the associated fees
    7. Tap Continue

  • How to view card details

    1. Logon to the Absa Banking App

    2. Tap Menu in the bottom right of your screen

    3. Tap Cards

    4. Select the relevant card

    5. Tap View card details

    6. Accept the verification request that pops up

    7. Slide to reveal expiry date or Slide to reveal CVV

    8. Tap Done

  • How to download a tax certificate

    1. Logon to the Absa Banking App
    2. Tap on Menu in the the bottom right of your screen
    3. Tap Documents
    4. Tap Tax certificates
    5. Select the required tax year by taping the calendar icon
    6. Tap on the required tax certificate type
    7. Once the year and tax certificate type have been chosen, tap Continue
    8. Download the chosen tax certificate and share through your preferred communication channel

    4. On the Payments tab select your beneficiary
    5. Scroll down and select the required payment

    7. On the Overview screen tap Confirm send
    8. Notification is successfully sent
      Tap Done

Cellphone Banking

  • How to view your cheque account balance

    1. Add the Absa Cellphone Banking number *120*2272# to your contacts
    2. Dial the Absa Cellphone Banking number from your contact list to logon
    3. Enter your 5-digit PIN 
    4. Select 1 for Balances 
      Tap Send
    5. If you only have a cheque account your balance will immediately display
    6. If you have more than one account linked to your portfolio, all your account will display
    7. Select the number your cheque account is linked to 
      Tap Send
    8. Your balance will be displayed
    9. Select 1 
      Tap send to return to the main menu

     

    You do not need airtime to bank using Absa Cellphone Banking.
