Prepaid Funeral Cover is a short term prepaid funeral plan that you can buy using Absa’s Cellphone Banking Channel. Once you have given us a call confirmation will be sent to your cellphone number and you will receive a call from a sales consultant to confirm the activation of a policy

- 6 months term cover of R 3,000 for R135
- 12 months term cover of R 3,000 for R218
- 6 months term cover of R 5,000 for R190
- 12 months term cover of R 5,000 for R341

- Log onto Cellphone Banking by entering your access account number and pin
- Select the 'Prepaid' option from the menu displayed
- Then select the 'Purchase' option
- Select the ‘Activate funeral cover’ option from the prepaid drop down selection
