Noot vir Noot
As the longest running television game show in South Africa, Noot vir Noot is entrenched in the lives of many South Africans who tune in to watch the entertaining music game show – which has been hosted by Johan Stemmet since 1991 when Noot vir Noot first aired. Musical knowledge is a must, and contestants are under pressure to recognise a song and then hit the buzzer first in order to go through to the winning round.
Even though the show has been on the air for so long, the appeal of the musical game show has not been lost over the years. Noot vir Noot is still a favourite with audiences (both English and Afrikaans), and has continually been listed in the top ten favourite programs on SABC, with people clamouring to be a part of the studio audience.
Absa has been a proud sponsor of Noot vir Noot since 1991, and are thrilled with the new format which has 22 programs in the series, with the final episode where we make a donation to a charity.
